Three Couples To Have Sex On New Mariella's Frostrup's Channel 4 Live Show.

'It's not about the technicalities of sex but more about discussing what it means to them as a couple.'  - Ralph Lee, Channel 4's head of factual programming.

A new television show will feature three couples taking turns to have sex in a sound-proof glass box in a television studio before being interviewed by 50 year-old Mariella Frostrup (pictured right) and a panel of sex experts on the 'Sex Box show' on Channel 4.

The three couples, two straight and one gay, will take turns to step into the frosted glass box before being quizzed about what they got up to by host Mariella Frostrup and a panel of sex experts. Makers of the show-‘ Sex Box’, claim that the programme, which will air on Channel 4, is intended to 'reclaim sex from pornography'.

Channel 4 has a history of broadcasting sex-related programmes. In 1986 the channel introduced a warning Red Triangle symbol to highlight risqué late-night programmes - soon the shows flagged by this symbol gained a larger than expected audience.

When Michael Grade was chief executive of the channel from 1987-1997 he was dubbed Britain's 'pornographer-in-chief' for his fondness for commissioning downmarket programmes.

Popular Channel 4 programmes include The Joy Of Teen Sex, Confessions Of A Male Stripper, and Dogging Tales, which was described as 'an intimate and compelling insight into why men and women engage in or watch sexual activity in front of strangers'.

'I cradled each of them for two-and-a-half hours as they died in my arms. It was horrible. Truly horrible.'

Mandy Allwood (pictured left) - the original Octomum - will mark 17 years since her octuplets passed away in her arms. In September 1996, she gave birth to six boys and two girls - just 24 weeks into her pregnancy (pictured top right with hubby). Within hours of being born, each had died. They were buried in tiny coffins at West Norwood Cemetery, South London (pictured bottom right).The eight white coffins of the babies were topped by pink posies for the two girls and blue for the six boys.

Now, as she marks the week her children Kypros, Adam, Martyn, Cassius, Nelson, Donald, Kitali and Layne would have celebrated their 17th birthday, Mrs Allwood has said she still relives the death of each of her children, who were born - and died - over the course of three days.

Her story was featured in newspapers around the world, on the Oprah Winfrey show, and she even had a personal message of support from Princess Diana but she said, despite going on to have three daughters, she was still unable to recover from her devastating loss.

She said she prayed to God when she felt the last of her children being born that at least one of them would live, only for her eighth child to die too.

The years that followed have seen Mrs Allwood descend into depression, suicide attempts and alcohol addiction.

The terror attack on a Kenyan shopping centre that has left 68 dead was being led by the white English widow of a 7/7 bomber, it was claimed today. Kenyan soldiers confirmed this statement when they said - 'a white woman wearing a veil was shouting orders to gunmen in Arabic during the bloody massacre inside the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi'.

Al Shabaab claimed two British men from London, Liban Adam, 23, and Ahmed Nasir Shirdoon, 24, were also among the ‘holy warriors’ in the attack.

The group is said to be highly organised, with huge amounts of ammunition as well as night vision equipment. They have destroyed CCTV cameras inside the shopping mall, meaning they cannot be watched.

Man,32 Caught With 6.5kg High Grade Brazilian Cocaine In Lagos Airport

A 32 year old Nigerian based in Spain, Francis Bawaba (pictured) was last weekend arrested by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) with 6.5kg high grade Brazilian cocaine.

Francis was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed airport in Lagos as he arrived aboard an Etihad flight. NDLEA officials found 364 wraps of cocaine said to be worth N72million concealed in his luggage. They said he took off from Malpensa Milan and collected the drug on transit while in Abudhabi.

"This is my first time and I was lured with N3.3million. I used to work at a construction company in Madrid but due to the Economic meltdown, it has been difficult securing a job". Bawaba said. He told officials that he agreed to carry the drugs because of a promise of N3.3million made to him by the handlers.

Police Officer Accused Of Uncovering Whitney Houston's Naked Body,Saying 'She Still Looks Good'

New claims have been filed against Terry Nutall, a Beverly Hill police sergent, who is alleged to have disturbed the scene of Whitney Houston's death by moving a sheet which covered the dead singer's naked body to an area below her pubic region before making inappropriate comments on how good she still looked. Utterly unbelievable right?….I thought so too.

Three people escaped death yesterday in Mushin Lagos after their car crashed into a car mart destroying cars and property worth about N6Million. Reports say that one of the car’s tyres burst on motion and flung the car right through the car mart’s fence and on top of another jeep( see more photos after the jump). I’m tempted to ask…hope the jeep is comprehensively insured though? Cos’ if it’s not…they might just be better off …….. fill in the blank.

Woman Attacks Man With Knife After Sex Because She Did Not Enjoy The Experience

A woman has been arrested and charged with aggravated battery when she attacked a man she had sex with.

Police reveal that Angela Dawn Specker received $100 in exchange for the sex, and when she ran into the client the next day, she slashed him with a knife.

The victim says he was walking out of a liquor store when Specker showed up. She reportedly pulled out a knife and cut his forearm before telling him, "perfect timing." Perfect Timing???

When interviewed, Specker told the investigators that she cut the man because she didn't like the way he treated her the night before. She claimed the victim slapped her and pulled her hair during sex. When he was "finished," he threw $100 at her and left, she claimed.

The man was taken to an area hospital where he underwent surgery.

“It’s certainly not going ahead”: UK deputy PM plans to stop £3,000 visa bond

Nigerian tourists to the United Kingdom might have cause to heave a sigh of relief as the plan to impose a £3,000 visa bond on visitors from the country might be nipped in the bud.

British Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg vowed to block the implementation of the policy that could see first time travellers to the UK having to deposit the amount, which is almost N700,000 before embarking on their holiday.

The British Government plans to implement new visa policy that will stipulate that “high risk” first time visitors deposit £3,000 in bond before being given visas. The deposit will be refunded on departure from the UK within the stipulated period but forfeited if the applicant overstays the visa.

How Two UniJos Undergraduates Stole N2B Electronically From Union Bank of Nigeria

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested two young men identified as Isaiah Friday and Azzaior Samuel for allegedly defrauding a bank the sum of N2.05b. The suspects who claimed to be undergraduates of the University of Jos and two bureau de change operators, Salihu Mahmoud and Dan Ibrahim, connived to commit the criminal act.

The suspects were also accused of being members of a syndicate that specialised in breaking into the computer data base of financial institutions to carry out dry posting of funds...
