9-Year-old Jomiloju Tunde Oladipo becomes Nigeria’s Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional

Jomiloju Tunde-Oladipo, a nine-year-old pupil of Role Model School, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos has emerged the youngest Nigerian Microsoft certified professional. He is now a Microsoft office specialist in office word 2010.

He came tops among 21 pupils who sat for the professional examination in Lagos. Jomiloju scored 769 out of 1,000 in the examination held in August.

In his examination score report, the slim-built boy performed well in Sharing and Maintaining Documents, Formatting Content, Applying Page Layout, and Reusable Content, among other subjects.

By this feat, Jomiloju has joined the league of young Microsoft certified professionals, including Nigeria’s 10-year-old Anjolaoluwa Seyi-Ojo; an eight-year-old Indian, Lavishnashree, and two Pakistanis, named Arfa and Thobani.

Lead researcher Rafael Wlodarski, from the university’s Department of Experimental Psychology, said: ‘Kissing in human sexual relationships is incredibly prevalent in various forms across just about every society and culture.

Nine missing episodes of Doctor Who from 1960s are found gathering dust in a cupboard in NIGERIA

Well! Nine long-lost episodes of Doctor Who which have not been seen since the 1960s, have been recovered after they were tracked down gathering dust in a store room in Nigeria.

Phillip Morris, the director of Television International Enterprises Archive, made the stunning discovery by looking up the records of overseas shipments of tapes made by the BBC.Among those discovered are The Enemy Of The World and The Web Of Fear.

Many have agreed that this discovery will cause much excitement for devotees of the long-running series, for which there are still dozens of missing episodes dating back to its early years.There are still 27 Doctor Who stories which have not been recovered or for which episodes are missing.In total, 97 episodes are still unaccounted for.

The newly found programmes - which introduce the character of Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart, better known to audiences as The Brigadier - will be available on iTunes from today and will later come out on DVD. The show celebrates its half-century on November 23

'Respond To ASUU Within A Week Or We Will Shut Down Nigeria'- Joe Ajaero

Labour activist and General Secretary, National Union of Electricity Employees, NUEE, Joe Ajaero has given the Federal Government one week to resolve its differences with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) or cripple the country with the mother-of-all-strikes.

Ajaero who was speaking during the opening of a training workshop organized for labour leaders in Enugu, threatened to ally with other unions across the country to join ASUU on a solidarity stike if the impasse persists.

He said: “If ASUU issue is not addressed, we will shut this country alongside other unions. We will ally with other unions and make sure that nothing works in this country.”

Libyan Prime Minister Kidnapped By Gunmen In Tripoli

Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has been kidnapped from a hotel in Tripoli by a group of armed men.

The kidnapping was apparently carried out by a militia this morning in revenge for the government's role in the capture of a top Al Qaeda suspect by U.S. troops.

Government officials have confirmed that Mr Zeidan was snatched from a hotel he was staying at in the capital and taken to an unknown destination.

Guards at the Corinthia Hotel have described the incident, which saw two of Zeidan's guards also taken, as an 'arrest'.
