PDP Founding Chairman and Ex-Plateau state Governor,Solomon Lar dies at 80
Pioneer founder of Nigeria’s ruling political party, PDP and
former Plateau State governor, Solomon Lar passed on in the early hours of
today October 9th,2013 in the US after a protracted illness. He was
80 years old.
The deceased was elected governor of Plateau State in October
1979 and ruled until 1983. He was a also a member of the first national
parliament when Nigeria gained independence in 1960. May his gentle soul rest
in peace...amen.
