A 23-year-old Oklahoma City woman has been arrested for
allegedly threatening an elderly neighbour with a knife because she suspected
him of spreading rumours about her having sex with her cat.
Kristina Brown was arrested Tuesday and charged with assault
and battery after 72-year-old Elmer Morison, who lives next door, told police
officers that the 23-year-old woman brandished a pocket knife in front of him
while repeatedly asking him, 'Do you wanna die?’
According to the arrest report, Brown told responding
officers that she was upset with her neighbour ‘because of what he did to me’ 'I
had sex with my cat and everyone knows.'
Responding officers said that Brown claimed Morrison 'does
not know about what she did with the cat, she is just mad at him and wants him
to die.'
The 72-year-old retiree was shocked by his neighbours'
statements, telling police, 'this is news to me.'
Mr Morrison added that Brown has lived next door to him in
the company of several relatives, cats and dogs for several years.
Miss Brown was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on
$5,000.
