The 43 year-old rapper had tried to drop the punctuation mark from his name before, but this time it better stick.
Through his label Roc Nation, the rapper has sent a missive
to various publications warning them he's removing the hyphen between the Jay
and the Z of his stage name.
The artwork on his new album Magna Carta... Holy Grail
already shows the name change.
Remember Snoop Dog also changed his name to Snoop Lion while Puff Daddy's name change holds the world record.
So let's follow the man's wish.
