'It's a wonderful place to be': Tina Turner opens up about marriage after tying the knot with Erwin Bach

Tina Turner, the 73-year-old music icon (for lovers of good music) tied the knot with her long-term love Erwin Bach at a private ceremony in Switzerland over the weekend. The couple have been together for 27 years after meeting at Heathrow airport.

She wore the perfect wedding dress as she decided against traditional white and opted for something typically glamorous- a green and black silk Armani gown with Swarovski crystals while the female guests wore white and the men were in black tie. The superstar admitted that she wanted to put her own stamp on a traditional American ceremony.

Describing her marriage to Erwin to Hello Magazine, she says 'It's that happiness that people talk about, when you wish for nothing, when you can finally take a deep breath and say, 'Everything is good'. It's a wonderful place to be.'

The couple kept the wedding private, with just good friends and family. In attendance were Oprah Winfrey and Bryan Adams.

The Love birds jetted off to Italy after the wedding for their honeymoon.
Age looks like its just a number afterall.

  1. Stunning even in her 70's. A bride @ 70 is rare but she looks amazing.
