Can someone stop these dudes. It all started early last
week, when Wizkid responded to a fan on twitter saying ‘broke people always
think they have an opinion' after the fan corrected his grammatical error. This
response has since being the platform for terrible exchange of words on twitter
and beyond.
In a related event Singer J Martins reacted to Wizkid’s
comment during one of his very recent interviews he granted. I want to believe
J-Martins kinda meant to give WizKid some big brotherly advice but his advice
got on the wrong side of Wizkid’s listening ears. An advice too many I guess,
In his interview he said:
I'm not taking any side, don’t mean no beef, no disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don’t believe because you feel you have a few change you didn’t have a few years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your CD’s, prayed for you, just because you can lay your hands on some phone and you call them ‘poor’.
I'm not in and will never be in support of anyone who has such bad attitude. It needs to be corrected, we owe our fans the duty of being good examples that’s why they hold us in high esteem, that’s why you are a role model and if you know you cannot be a good role model you have no business in Music. You don’t know if it’s that person that might help you tomorrow, whoever does that should be checked.
Wizkid followed these comments with an outburst on twitter last
night when he sent direct tweets to Big bro J-Martins. See the tweets after the
cut
J-Martins also immediately fired back in a mild manner trying to end whatever feud was brewing up in a brotherly manner
Well trust fans, they never want such things to end as they took to twitter taking sides
These look like J-Martins' Fans. Let's see where all of these will lead to.#pullpillowandsleep#
If he is really talking to his fans ... He should know u don't bite the hands that feed you.
