Hi,
I shared here a couple of days ago, how 4 Lebanese (Mustapha
Fawaz, Talal Roda, Abdulla Tahini, and Kossay Nourdin) were charged for
terrorism and alleged importation of firearms in Nigeria. Well! Here I am
again, but this time with a great shocker….I call it shocker because amidst
very glaring evidences by the police against these men, an Abuja court on
Wednesday struck out the case of illegal arms importation filed against the
co-owner of Amigo Supermarket, Mustapha Fawaz and the three other Lebanese. The
matter is becoming very complicated as is usually the case whenever Nigerian
security agencies are prosecuting “big men”. Let us not forget that this act of
terrorism has claimed the lives of many leaders of tomorrow in Nigeria.
Interestingly also, is the fact that the men are currently
seeking an apology for their detention and asking for N50billion as damages...
Their bail application will be heard on June 21 in the fresh
suit filed by the Lebanese at a Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking their
release from detention.
It is well Nigeria
