A fight broke out on Monday night at the post VMAs party
organised by Diddy and Jay Z at the Dream Downtown Hotel, between Sean 'Diddy'
Combs', 43,and rapper J. Cole after it was alleged J. Cole said inappropriate
things' to the music mogul's beautiful singer girlfriend Cassie
Beyonce who attended the party with her husband reportedly
got involved 'yelling' at Diddy and J Cole in a bid to stop the ruckus.
A source said: 'It was mayhem. Beyoncé was yelling to stop
and Jay Z was separating people and getting people away from Bey.'
'We were all dancing and the fight breaks out, and it
happened so quickly and bottles were crashing everywhere, and everyone was
screaming. People got pushed into bottles', said another partygoer.
While yet another partygoer said: 'J. Cole was saying
inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. 'Sean
immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown,
but it was a visible disturbance. 'A few bottles splashed to the floor and some
partygoers were knocked over.'
The party was sponsored by Diddy's drinks brand Ciroc, and
the 3am brawl started after multiple bottles of the drink had been consumed.
Diddy recovered quickly from the drama to get back on the decks
to welcome everyone to the VMA bash, and wish Cassie a happy birthday, it was
learnt
He got up on the club mic and told people: ‘It’s all cool!
Ya’ll keep having fun! It’s no big deal, it’s over.'
The star studded party had in attendance Rihanna, Rita Ora
and Justin Timberlake amongst others
Despite the fracas, Beyonce was seen leaving in good
spirits.
Representatives for Diddy and J.Cole have yet to respond to
requests for comment. However, the rapper attempted to address the issue on
twitter. He tweeted on Tuesday: 'I usually don't address rumors but I got too
much respect for my bro @JColeNC.
'We are friends The rumors are not true. We had a great
party.'
